One of the greatest features is the backrest which can be 'unfolded' allowing the sofa to become a 48' bed when having guests stay overnight. You may use it with a sleeping bag on top or with sheets and blankets. The slightly rounded foam backrest 'rests' up against a wooden frame for stability when in use as a sofa. The arms are generously padded and rounded on top. Plastic cushion glides on the bottom corners protect the fabric from wear and tear. Depending upon the size of the child the age range can begin at approximately two years old to 7 or 8 years. Comes fully assembled.
